The 3Com Switch 7758 chassis kit provides the foundation for performance, security, and quality of service (QoS) in a modular chassis with 8 slots optimized for peripheral workgroups and the core in small and medium-sized networks. This kit includes an 8-slot chassis with 2 pre-installed power supplies and a fan unit; Replaceable fabrics are ordered separately. An additional redundant structure provides high availability for basic network needs. The chassis supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with the optional 3Com Switch 775X External PoE Power Rack and 3Com Switch 7700 48-port 10/100 / 1000BASE-T PoE module or 7700 switch 48-port 10 / 100BASE-TX PoE module.
