The HPE 3500 yl switch series provides high performance and ease of use for enterprise and branch office deployments that require PoE +. The 3500 yl switch series is based on a Hewlett Packard Enterprise networking ASIC and offers short latency times with improved packet buffering and an optional module for 10GbE connections. It has reliable Layer 3 functions with IPv4 BGP, policy-based routing and IPv4 / IPv6 OSPF, which can be managed seamlessly with the optional HPE Intelligent Management Center (IMC) software platform. SDN-enabled (software-defined network) with OpenFlow support.
